Our Pets

We have two short-haired Collies (Yes, short-haired! The great, family-dedicated qualities of Lassie without all the work!) and one tabby cat.

Honey

Barkley is our older Collie who has the patience of a saint. He is always gentle when playing—whether with Kira, adults, or kids. He, too, loves it when kids come to visit and is just wonderful with them.

Kira is an active, but obedient, three year old Collie who loves to chase a ball and bring it right back to your feet. She is in heaven when friends or family come over and bring their children—you could almost see her grinning she’s so happy!

       Our cat is named Honey

   and although he looks like a cat,

he’s really a dog at heart. He plays

tag with Kira and gets very upset if

we leave him behind when we go on

 our walks. His favorite pastime is

 curling up in our laps.
