Our Interests and Hobbies

We both love the outdoors and that common interest is one of the things that brought us together. Our favorite date early on in our relationship included canoeing during the day and then dancing under the stars at an outdoor dinner dance that night.

In the summer, we enjoy hiking, camping, canoeing, and working around the house and garden. In the winter, we love snow skiing, snowmobiling, and hanging out at the family cabin in the mountains. And any time of the year, we love to dance and we love going to Disneyland. We even went there for our honeymoon.

We are also Ham radio operators, which allows us to talk to far away places. We have been very fortunate to travel to such interesting places as Lake Tahoe and Yellowstone, and as far away as Brazil and South Africa.  (See pictures below.)
